Editorial Policy
How Expressway.PH ensures the accuracy, reliability, and usefulness of every piece of information on this site.
Last updated: February 7, 2026
Our Mission
Expressway.PH exists for one reason: to make expressway travel in the Philippines easier, faster, and more predictable. We provide free, accurate toll fee data, RFID guides, and route information so that every Filipino motorist can plan their trip with confidence. No ads, no paywalls — just reliable data.
Data Sources and Verification
Every toll fee, plaza name, and RFID detail on this site comes from official sources and is verified through multiple channels:
- 1
Toll Regulatory Board (TRB)
Our primary data source. TRB publishes and regulates all expressway toll rates in the Philippines. We cross-reference our toll matrices against the latest TRB-approved rate schedules.
- 2
Official Expressway Operators
SMC Tollways (Autosweep) and Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation / MPTC (Easytrip) publish official toll rates, RFID policies, and operating information that we reference directly.
- 3
Firsthand Verification
Our founder, Aditya Aman, has personally driven nearly every kilometer of Philippine expressways. Toll fees, exit information, and RFID experiences are verified against actual trips.
- 4
Community Feedback
We welcome corrections and updates from motorists. If you spot an inaccuracy, please reach out — we take every report seriously and verify before updating.
Content Standards
Every page on Expressway.PH adheres to these standards:
- Accuracy first — we never publish toll rates or RFID information without verifying against official sources.
- Regular updates — toll rates and expressway information are reviewed and updated whenever TRB approves changes or operators announce updates.
- Clear attribution — every page shows the author name, published date, and last updated date so you know how current the information is.
- No speculation — we only state facts that can be verified. When information is approximate (e.g., travel times), we clearly indicate ranges.
- Transparency — if we make a correction, the updated date on the page reflects the change.
How We Update Content
Toll rates change when the Toll Regulatory Board approves new fee schedules. When this happens, we update our toll rate database within 24-48 hours, verify the new rates against TRB announcements and operator confirmations, update all affected toll matrix pages, route pages, and blog posts, and publish a blog post announcing the changes. RFID policies, installation sites, and procedures are reviewed monthly and updated as operators announce changes.
Independence and Integrity
Expressway.PH is an independent publication. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any expressway operator (SMC Tollways, MPTC), the Toll Regulatory Board, or any government agency. Our content is created independently based on publicly available information and firsthand experience. We do not accept payment from expressway operators or RFID providers to influence our content.
