Autosweep RFID Installation 2026: Requirements, Cost and Where to Go

Confirm whether you need installation, replacement, or enrollment

A first installation creates a physical tag and account relationship for the vehicle. A replacement addresses a damaged or unsuitable tag. One RFID enrollment activates a different payment arrangement for participating tollways. Tell the provider which task you need before you book a visit.

If an existing Autosweep tag works on your usual roads, you may need enrollment advice rather than a completely new ordinary account. If the tag repeatedly fails despite sufficient credit, ask for inspection. Adding another sticker without resolving the original account can make your records harder to manage.

For a used car, bring the existing card or paperwork if available and ask how ownership should be updated. Do not assume a previous owner's prepaid account becomes yours when the vehicle sale finishes. The installer or customer-service team should explain the correct account process before you send money to it.

What the installation costs: unconfirmed on 17 September 2026

Autosweep publishes its sticker and load fees only on its own site, which was not reachable when this page was checked on 17 September 2026. Third-party guides disagree: some quote a ₱200 sticker with a ₱200 minimum load, others ₱200 with ₱300, and one describes a no-documents option with a free sticker and a ₱300 load.

Bring cash for the sticker and a load of at least your first trip's toll, and confirm the figure at the site. This section is replaced with the operator's own figures the day the page is verified.

Check the installation site and its direction of access

Use the provider's current installation-site information and confirm that the location offers the service you need. The site's road direction matters. A northbound installation bay cannot be reached safely from the opposite carriageway by crossing the median or reversing.

The RFID installation-site directory can help you discover locations, but confirm the hours and service with the operator before setting out. A listed site may have temporary closures, appointment rules, or a different service schedule from the surrounding fuel station.

Choose a site you can reach legally with your present payment setup. If reaching it requires entering a tollway without a working tag, ask the operator about the appropriate access procedure. Don't plan on stopping in a live lane and turning an account task into an improvised installation visit.

Sites on a toll plaza are reached from one direction of travel only; check the map before you go so you do not arrive on the wrong carriageway.

Prepare vehicle and identity documents

Bring your vehicle's Official Receipt and Certificate of Registration, commonly called OR and CR (Official Receipt and Certificate of Registration). Bring a valid government-issued ID and any existing Autosweep account record. These documents give the provider a clear way to match the vehicle and account details.

If the car is newly purchased or registered under someone else's name, ask the chosen site which supporting documents it accepts. A deed of sale, dealer document, authorization letter, or company paperwork may be relevant. Treat that as a question for your case rather than a universal checklist that guarantees approval.

Keep originals secure and prepare copies if the site requests them. Check that the names, vehicle details, and contact information you provide are accurate. For a company vehicle, settle who will own and manage the account. The person bringing the car and the person administering toll payments may be different.

Bring the actual vehicle for positioning and testing

RFID installation concerns the vehicle, not just the card handed to the driver. The installer needs to inspect the fitting position and check the tag arrangement. Bring the car or eligible motorcycle rather than asking someone to collect a loose sticker for you to attach later.

Tell the technician about tint, an existing tag, a repaired windshield, or an earlier reading problem. Don't remove tint or peel off a sticker yourself because a copied guide recommends it. The provider should assess compatibility and explain any replacement or fitting work.

After installation, ask what was tested and how the account record corresponds to the vehicle. Save the issued account information. A correctly identified, readable tag matters more than a quick photo of a new sticker. If the installer flags a fitting issue, resolve it before you depend on the tag for a long trip.

Separate the installation charge from initial load

Ask the site to distinguish any installation or replacement charge from prepaid toll credit. A payment that becomes account load is different from a service fee. The current One RFID disclosure describes free registration, but it does not prove that every physical replacement or ordinary installation task has no associated charge.

Request the current amount for the specific work on your vehicle. Ask how much credit will appear in the account after you pay. If a package combines a tag task and an initial top-up, have those parts explained on the receipt.

Don't rely on old fixed amounts repeated across unofficial guides. A historical ₱200 or ₱500 example might refer to initial load, a different site, or an earlier program. Use the current provider instruction for your visit and keep the receipt. The goal is to know both what the service costs and what toll credit you receive.

Set up account access before you leave the site

Check the issued Autosweep account information for spelling and vehicle details. Use an email address and phone number you can access later. An account tied to an abandoned inbox becomes difficult to recover when you need a statement or balance confirmation.

Autosweep's official app listing describes Quick Balance using your account number and logged-in management for several accounts. Download the genuine app from the official listing. If a fleet administrator will manage the account, coordinate access with that person rather than creating conflicting profiles.

Try the balance inquiry while you are safely parked. Confirm the opening balance or newly credited load. Save the paperwork privately and label the account by vehicle. This simple check catches a wrong digit or mismatched record before it becomes a payment problem on the way home.

Check ordinary coverage and One RFID status separately

Autosweep ordinarily serves SLEX, Skyway, Skyway Stage 3, NAIAX, STAR, and TPLEX. That standard coverage does not automatically settle a journey onto NLEX, SCTEX, CAVITEX, or CALAX. Ask whether your installation includes confirmed enrollment in the current One RFID program.

The unified program is voluntary. Its account choice and activation are separate from the fact that a physical tag exists. Older interoperability can involve one sticker with two provider balances. Get a clear answer about which account you should maintain and reload.

Use the RFID comparison and One RFID enrollment article if you travel across networks. Keep the confirmation with your vehicle record. Before the first cross-network drive, check that the selected account is active and sufficiently funded.

Prepare your first journey with the installed tag

Calculate the tolls for your actual entry, exit, and vehicle class. Use the toll calculator and include the return. A first top-up should cover the planned route, not merely the nearest toll gate.

Check the balance after any additional payment. A successful wallet debit and usable toll credit are different records. GCash's current RFID support instructions use a one-hour check-and-report process for missing payments; other channels can publish their own timing.

As you approach the lane, slow to the posted instruction and leave room behind the vehicle ahead. Wait for your own vehicle's clearance. If the tag does not read, follow the attendant and avoid reversing into traffic. Report repeated failures with the account details and installation receipt so the provider can inspect the right vehicle and tag.
