In short
GCredit itself is a credit line up to ₱50,000, powered by CIMB Bank, for merchant and bill payments, not a car loan. GCash's Loan Finder lists auto loans as coming soon, not available today.
A bank car loan on ₱1,000,000 over 60 months starts at ₱20,967 a month at UnionBank.

What is GCredit auto repayment?
GCredit auto repayment is the auto-deduction GCash applies to your GCash wallet when you miss your GCredit due date.
GCash states it plainly: if you miss the due date, it auto-deducts the payment from your wallet and sends an SMS after each deduction.
This feature cannot be turned off; it is written into the GCredit Terms you agree to when you sign up.
If a manual payment and an auto-deduction land on the same due amount, any excess auto-payment is reversed within one business day. GCash also sends email and SMS reminders before your due date.
Auto repayment is meant as a backstop, not the primary way most users are expected to pay.
What GCredit actually is, and who lends it
GCredit is a credit line inside the GCash app that lets you pay when your wallet balance is zero. It works through merchant QR codes, GCash billers and authorized online merchants.
It is powered by CIMB Bank Philippines, the bank named as lender in the GCredit Terms, with GCash's own G-Xchange, Inc. also under BSP regulation. The credit limit tops out at ₱50,000.
GCash states plainly that it does not accept requests to raise that limit; it is reviewed periodically instead.
Interest runs 5% to 7% a month, based on how active you are on GCash. It is calculated daily and capitalized at the end of each billing cycle.
Pay your dues the same day as a transaction and no interest applies at all. There are no separate fees stated for GCredit itself; the minimum amount due each cycle is 10% of your total amount due.
| Item | What GCash states |

Late fees and how to pay GCredit dues
Miss a GCredit due date and a ladder of late fees applies. The fees are ₱200 at one day past due, an additional ₱300 at 31 days, and another ₱400 at 61 days.
A further ₱600 applies at 91 days. You can pay through the GCredit dashboard for real-time posting.
You can also pay through Bills > Fuse Financing Inc., which posts within about three business days. Or pay through payment partners BPI, Metrobank, BDO or Bayad Center, which can take longer to post.
A monthly Statement of Account goes to your registered email either way.

Does GCash finance a car?
Not yet. GCash's official Borrow page lists exactly three products: GGives, GCredit and GLoan, and none of them is a car or vehicle loan.
Its Loan Finder help page is direct about the gap. For now, only credit cards and personal loans from GCash's partner bank are available.
Auto loans are named as a future addition, not a live one.
GLoan, GCash's cash loan product, runs ₱500 up to ₱125,000 (its fee table lists a ceiling of ₱150,000). It is repayable over 1 to 24 months, at 1.59% to 6.99% a month.
It also charges a 3% to 5% processing fee. It is general-purpose cash, the same way GCredit is a payment credit line, not vehicle financing.
The one vehicle-adjacent offer on GCash today is a GGives x SB Finance promo. It lets selected users pay for a repossessed motorcycle at SB Finance's Repo Central in Quezon City, a single transaction of at least ₱70,000.
It is explicitly not valid for brand new motorcycles.
Do not confuse GCredit's merchant-payment credit line with a car loan. Neither GCredit nor GLoan is secured against a vehicle, and GCash states auto loans are still "coming soon."
The one vehicle-adjacent GCash offer that does exist
The nearest GCash gets to vehicle financing today is a GGives x SB Finance promo. It lets selected users pay for a repossessed motorcycle at SB Finance's Repo Central in Quezon City.
It covers a single transaction of at least ₱70,000, and is explicitly not valid for brand new motorcycles. It also requires GGives to cover the full price rather than acting as a loan in the usual sense.
It is not a car offer, and it is not open to every GCash user.
Where to actually finance a car
For the car itself, a bank auto loan is the route that exists today. BPI and BDO both carry brand-new and used-car rate tables.
The car loan calculator compares all 8 banks for the same loan amount and term. On a ₱1,000,000 loan over 60 months, add-on rates at the 7 that quote one currently span 25.80% to 32.52%.
The lowest stated down payment is 15%, at BPI.
