In short
BDO's own online calculator states a brand-new ₱1,500,000 SUV can run as low as ₱24,868 a month, on a 20% down payment and 60-month term.
That same math on Metrobank's stated 60-month rate runs closer to ₱26,052, and on BPI's closer to ₱26,202. Both are worked examples on each bank's own add-on figures, rather than an SUV-specific rate.
- SUV-specific bank rate
- None stated by any lender compared (BPI, Metrobank, RCBC, BDO, China Bank)
- China Bank SUV eligibility
- SUV named explicitly as an eligible body type, brand new and pre-owned
- BDO online SUV illustration
- ₱1,500,000 SUV, 20% down, 60 months: as low as ₱24,868/month
- Mitsubishi Destinator official price
- From ₱1,389,000
- Toyota Fortuner official price range
- ₱1,775,000 to ₱2,656,000 (2.4 G MT to GR-S 4x4 AT)
Is there a special SUV loan, or an SUV interest rate?
No. China Bank's AutoPlus FAQ lists "Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV)" and "Asian Utility Vehicle (AUV)" among its eligible body types for both brand-new and pre-owned financing. It uses a single rate table that does not split by body type.
BPI, Metrobank and RCBC show the same pattern. Their stated add-on and effective rates apply to any passenger vehicle brought to the loan, an SUV included.
RCBC's own marketing copy asks, "Whether your dream family car is a sedan or an SUV". That is the closest any lender comes to naming SUVs, and it still points to the same single rate table.
- BPI, 60 months, brand new
- Add-on 31.01% / effective 11.19%
- Metrobank, 60 months, in arrears (as of 5 Jun 2026)
- Add-on 30.26% / effective 10.93%
- RCBC, 60 months, calculator (basis unlabelled)
- 29.60%
How much is the monthly installment on an SUV?
BDO states the only bank-stated SUV monthly figure found. A brand-new SUV worth ₱1,500,000, financed online with 20% down over 60 months, can run "as low as P24,868 a month".
BDO's site also notes that online applicants save up to ₱71,040 versus a paper application. BDO does not disclose the interest rate behind that figure.
Running the same ₱1,500,000 price, 20% down and 60-month term through the other three lenders' own stated add-on rates gives a sense of the spread.
Metrobank's in-arrears rate works out to about ₱26,052 a month, BPI's to about ₱26,202, and RCBC's calculator to about ₱25,920. BDO's own figure sits below all three, though on an undisclosed rate.

What SUVs actually cost, from the brand's own site
Three official price points anchor the range this page uses. Mitsubishi's Destinator starts at ₱1,389,000.
Toyota's Fortuner runs from ₱1,775,000 for a 2.4 G manual to ₱2,656,000 for the GR-S 4x4 automatic.
Ford's Everest headline price is "as low as PhP 1,949,000." Mitsubishi's Montero Sport spans ₱1,568,000 (GLX 2WD manual) to ₱2,530,000 (Black Series 4WD automatic).
These are the brands' own official figures, from toyota.com.ph, ford.com.ph and mitsubishi-motors.com.ph. A third-party listing site quoting a different price for any of these models should be checked against the brand's own page.
A van shares several of the same lenders and rate tables; see van financing for that comparison.

A live Destinator promo, on bank financing
Mitsubishi Motors Financial Philippines ran "Your Premium SUV Is Within Reach" from August 8 to October 27, 2026, under DTI Fair Trade Permit No. FTEB-264546.
The promo financed a Destinator at 20% down over 60 months through a participating partner bank. The monthly amortization started at ₱29,943, subject to bank approval.
The promo page does not name the specific Destinator variant behind that starting figure or which partner banks are participating.
As with any dated promo, confirm with an MMPC dealer whether it is still running before treating the ₱29,943 figure as current.
Financing a used SUV
A second-hand SUV follows the same used-car terms a bank applies to any pre-owned vehicle. BPI's second-hand rate runs an add-on of 44.32% and an effective rate of 15.50% at 60 months.
That is roughly 4.3 points higher in effective terms than its brand-new rate. BDO's pre-owned minimum down payment rises to 30%, against 20% for brand new, and its maximum term shortens to 4 years.
China Bank finances pre-owned units up to 70% of appraised value, against 80% of selling price for brand new. An SUV in this price band also shows up on cars under P2 million.
