NLEX Exits 2026: Northbound and Southbound List With Tolls

Every NLEX exit in order, with the class 1 toll from Balintawak

The first five exits after Balintawak all cost ₱85: the Metro Manila end of NLEX charges one fee up to Marilao. Class 2 and 3 fees for every pair are on the NLEX toll matrix. Southbound, read the table upward from Dau: every pair costs the same in either direction on the TRB matrix of 1 February 2026.

NLEX is a closed system: you take a ticket or tap Easytrip at entry and pay for the distance to your exit. The price does not depend on which lane or which time of day.

Which NLEX exit to take for Bulacan, Pampanga and Clark destinations — Bulacan exits sit in the first 40 km; Pampanga exits start at San Simon.

The Metro Manila entries: Balintawak, Mindanao Avenue, Karuhatan, Valenzuela

Balintawak is the southern end and the entry most drivers use from EDSA. From Makati, Skyway Stage 3 from Buendia to Balintawak costs ₱264 for class 1 on the same matrix and joins NLEX directly, so a Makati to Dau trip totals ₱675 in tolls.

Mindanao Avenue serves North Caloocan and the northern Quezon City subdivisions. Karuhatan and Valenzuela serve Valenzuela City; Valenzuela also connects to Harbor Link, the spur to the Port of Manila and R-10.

If you start north of EDSA in Quezon City, enter at Mindanao Avenue. It saves the Balintawak queue, and the toll to Meycauayan, Marilao or Bocaue is the same ₱85 to ₱105 band from either entry on the matrix.

Bulacan exits: Meycauayan to Pulilan

Nine exits serve Bulacan. Meycauayan, Marilao and Bocaue are the industrial and residential towns closest to Manila, ₱85 to ₱105 from Balintawak. Ciudad de Victoria is the exit for the Philippine Arena and opens only on event dates; when it is closed, use Bocaue.

Tabang and Sta. Rita both serve Malolos and Guiguinto. Tabang is the direct exit for Malolos city proper; Sta. Rita is closer to Plaridel. Pulilan is the last Bulacan exit and the one for Baliwag and the road toward Nueva Ecija.

Pampanga exits and the SCTEX connection at Dau

San Simon is the first Pampanga exit and serves Apalit and Calumpit. San Fernando is the provincial capital exit at ₱314. Mexico and Angeles follow; Angeles also serves Magalang.

Dau is the end of NLEX at ₱411. The road continues as SCTEX without a stop, and the toll for the whole trip is billed at your SCTEX exit. Clark International Airport is the Clark South exit, not Dau.

How the tolls in this guide were computed

Every figure is the class 1 entry-to-exit fee from the Toll Regulatory Board matrix as published on toll.ph, effective 1 February 2026, the same table behind our NLEX toll matrix and toll calculator. Class 1 covers cars, jeepneys, vans, pick-ups and motorcycles of 400cc and up. Class 2 (buses and trucks) and class 3 (large trucks) pay more; use the matrix page for those.

If you miss your exit

Keep driving to the next exit and leave there. The toll is charged for the exit you actually use, so a missed exit costs the difference to the next one, never a penalty. Do not stop or reverse on the carriageway.

Southbound, the next chance to turn around after Balintawak is EDSA itself. Northbound past Dau you are on SCTEX and the next exit is Mabalacat (Mabiga), ₱440 from Balintawak.

How many exits does NLEX have?

NLEX has 18 exits between Balintawak and Dau over 84 km: four in Metro Manila (Balintawak, Mindanao Avenue, Karuhatan, Valenzuela), nine in Bulacan (Meycauayan to Pulilan) and five in Pampanga (San Simon to Dau). The road continues as SCTEX after Dau without a toll stop.

How much is the NLEX toll from Balintawak to Dau?

₱411 for a class 1 vehicle on the TRB matrix effective 1 February 2026. Class 1 covers cars, vans, pick-ups and motorcycles of 400cc and up. Buses and trucks pay class 2 or class 3 rates, which are higher; the NLEX toll matrix page lists every class for every exit pair.

Which NLEX exit is for Clark airport?

Stay on past Dau and take the SCTEX Clark South exit, which leads to the airport terminal road. The class 1 toll from Balintawak to Clark South is ₱451, billed once when you leave SCTEX. Dau serves Mabalacat town and Angeles, not the terminal.

Which NLEX exit is for the Philippine Arena?

Ciudad de Victoria, ₱96 from Balintawak for class 1. The exit opens for arena events and may be closed on ordinary days; when it is closed, use Bocaue, one exit north at ₱105, and follow the local road back.

Does NLEX use Easytrip or Autosweep?

Easytrip. NLEX, SCTEX, NLEX Connector and Harbor Link are MPTC roads and read Easytrip tags. An Autosweep tag works on NLEX only if the account is enrolled in the One RFID program; otherwise you need an Easytrip account with enough balance for the trip.

NLEX starts at Balintawak on EDSA in Quezon City and ends at Dau in Mabalacat, Pampanga, 84 km north. Past Dau the road continues as SCTEX toward Clark, Subic and Tarlac.

Where are the Tabang, Mexico and Angeles exits?

Tabang is exit 11 northbound, for Guiguinto and Malolos, at ₱157 from Balintawak. Mexico is exit 16 at ₱353, and Angeles is exit 17 at ₱399 for Angeles City and Magalang. All are class 1 fees on the TRB matrix of 1 February 2026.

Where are the NLEX Connector exits?
