SCTEX Route Overview
SCTEX runs from Tipo/Subic in Zambales to Tarlac City, passing through Clark Freeport Zone. It connects to NLEX at the Dau/Mabalacat interchange and to TPLEX at the La Paz interchange in Tarlac. SCTEX uses the Easytrip RFID system.

Key Interchanges
SCTEX has two major interchanges with other expressways. At Mabalacat/Dau, it connects to NLEX for travelers coming from Manila. At Tarlac, it connects to TPLEX for travelers heading to Pangasinan, La Union, or Baguio. Both interchanges use Easytrip RFID, so a single RFID works for NLEX-SCTEX-TPLEX travel.
Getting to Clark Airport via SCTEX
The fastest route to Clark International Airport is via NLEX to SCTEX. From Manila (Balintawak), take NLEX to Dau, then SCTEX to Clark South exit. Total travel time is approximately 1.5-2 hours depending on traffic. Clark South exit leads directly to the airport access road. Alternative: Use Clark North exit if coming from Tarlac direction.

SCTEX uses Easytrip RFID, the same system as NLEX and TPLEX. If you have an Easytrip RFID with sufficient balance, you can travel seamlessly from NLEX through SCTEX to TPLEX.
From Manila, take NLEX northbound to Dau, then enter SCTEX heading to Subic. Exit at Tipo/Subic, the southernmost exit. Total travel time from Balintawak is approximately 2-2.5 hours. Total toll fee is around ₱420 for Class 1.
Use the Clark South exit for Clark International Airport. After exiting, follow signs to Clark Freeport Zone and the airport. Clark South provides the most direct access to the terminal.
