TPLEX Route Overview

TPLEX extends the expressway network from Tarlac northward to La Union, providing the fastest route from Manila to Baguio and the Ilocos region. It connects to SCTEX/NLEX at the La Paz interchange in Tarlac. TPLEX uses the Easytrip RFID system.

Getting to Baguio via TPLEX

The fastest route from Manila to Baguio is NLEX > SCTEX > TPLEX to Rosario/Baguio exit. From the Rosario exit, take the Rosario-Baguio Road uphill to Baguio City (approximately 45-60 minutes of mountain driving). Total expressway travel time from Balintawak to Rosario is approximately 3-3.5 hours. Total toll fee for the full NLEX-SCTEX-TPLEX route is approximately ₱980 for Class 1.

Getting to Dagupan/Lingayen

For Dagupan City and Lingayen (Pangasinan capital), exit at Carmen (Exit 6) or Urdaneta (Exit 7). From Carmen, take local roads west to Dagupan/Lingayen (approximately 30-40 minutes). Urdaneta exit provides access to the eastern Pangasinan corridor.
