How to file an Alliedbankers Insurance claim
- Before you call, have these ready
Your policy, the driver's licence and its official receipt, the car's certificate of registration and official receipt, and photos of the damage with the plate number showing.
- Tell Alliedbankers as soon as possible
The IC standard Private Car Policy (official source) asks for notice as soon as possible, with full details. Call (02) 8245-2886 loc. 100, text 0917-850-6446, or email customerservice@alliedbankers.com.ph (customer service page (official source)). For a carnapped car, tell the police at once too.
- Do not drive the damaged car
Further damage from driving the car before repair is excluded under the standard policy. You may settle with the other party on the spot up to ₱5,000 without the insurer's consent; above that, ask first.
- Send the standard motor claim documents
IC Circular Letter 2020-92 (official source) sets the motor claim list every insurer uses; an affidavit can stand in for a police report for own damage and property damage.
- Claim form
- Affidavit of the accident or police report
- Photos of the damage with the plate number visible
- Repair estimate
- Driver's licence and its official receipt
- Certificate of registration and official receipt
- Certificate of no claim from the other driver's insurer (third-party claims)
- What a settled claim looks like
Alliedbankers agrees the amount, then pays or approves the repair. The Insurance Code, Sec. 249 (official source) requires payment within 30 days after proof of loss is received and the loss is agreed. If the claim is denied, the IC standard Private Car Policy (official source) asks for mediation first and gives you one year from the denial to sue; a request for reconsideration does not stop that clock.
Documents to have ready
7 of 7 still to gather
Before you buy
- Ask whether acts of nature (flood, typhoon, earthquake) and riot, strike and civil commotion are in your quote. The IC standard Private Car Policy (official source) excludes them unless added as an optional cover.
- Ask for the participation (deductible) in writing. Unless the insurer states its own figure, the IC motor tariff (official source) sets the higher of ₱2,000 or 0.5% of the sum insured.
- Parts are depreciated on own-damage claims once the car is over 3 years old, from 20% up to 40% by age, under the standard policy (official source). A total loss is settled differently.
- Tell the insurer as soon as possible after an accident, with full details, and keep every claim document. For carnapping, the policy (official source) also asks for immediate notice to the police.
- If the car is financed, name the bank as mortgagee: how to insure a financed vehicle.
- Your policy schedule and wording decide what is paid. For a dispute the insurer cannot settle, the Insurance Commission's public assistance desk takes complaints: how to file a claim.

Alliedbankers Insurance questions
Is Alliedbankers Insurance good?
Alliedbankers is on the Insurance Commission's list of licensed non-life insurers as of 31 August 2026 (official source) and ranked 13th by gross premiums (all non-life lines, 2025, unaudited).
Choose Alliedbankers if you bank with PNB or want free towing up to ₱5,000 in the policy; otherwise, if you want to price a comprehensive policy online, compare insurers with online quotes in the car insurance directory.
Can I buy Alliedbankers CTPL online?
Yes, at ectpl.alliedbankers.com.ph. CTPL for a private car costs ₱560 for one year under IC Memorandum Circular 4-2006.
The LTO registers a car only with CTPL from an insurer the Insurance Commission authorises, and Alliedbankers holds a valid licence. The CTPL guide explains the cover.
Does Alliedbankers have roadside assistance?
Yes. Its motor policy comes with free 24/7 roadside assistance, including towing up to ₱5,000 (motor brochure, October 2026).
The roadside assistance guide shows how other insurers compare.
What happens if I skip acts of nature on an Alliedbankers policy?
Flood, typhoon and earthquake damage to your own car is then not covered. The IC standard Private Car Policy (official source) excludes acts of nature unless added, and you must prove a loss arose apart from them.
On the Alliedbankers application, acts of nature is a cover you tick. The acts of nature guide explains the add-on.
Is Alliedbankers the same as PNB General Insurers?
Alliedbankers bought PNB General Insurers in 2020 and renamed it Summit General Insurance. The Insurance Commission's 31 August 2026 list (official source) shows Summit General as absorbed by Alliedbankers.
What is the Alliedbankers customer service number?
(02) 8245-2886 loc. 100. You can also text 0917-850-6446, 0917-824-3482 or 0917-839-3108, or email customerservice@alliedbankers.com.ph.
