What are the requirements for a GSIS car loan?
GBEL: upload a supplier quotation, or an OR or sales invoice in your name for a unit bought in 2026 onward; GBEL: within 1 month of release, submit the OR or invoice, photos of the unit and the personal accident insurance application; MPL Flex over the counter: accomplished application form and a photocopy of your UMID card or eCard.
Does GSIS have a car loan?
No. GSIS does not offer a dedicated car loan. Its Ginhawa Bike and E-Mobility Loan (GBEL) finances bicycles, e-bikes and electric personal mobility devices up to ₱300,000, and its MPL Flex is a general multi-purpose loan of 1x to 14x your basic monthly salary that members can use for a vehicle purchase, among other things.
How much can I borrow through GSIS for a vehicle?
Through MPL Flex, a general-purpose loan rather than a car-specific loan, eligible members can borrow 1x to 14x their basic monthly salary; the 14x tier needs at least 15 years of paid premiums, and the term runs 1 to 15 years depending on the multiplier.
What does the GSIS Ginhawa Bike and E-Mobility Loan cover?
Brand-new bicycles, e-bikes, electric kick scooters, e-mopeds and similar electric personal mobility devices, financed up to 100% of the unit cost to a maximum of ₱300,000, over 36 equal monthly installments.
Who is eligible for GSIS MPL Flex or GBEL?
Active permanent or non-career GSIS members with at least 3 years in service and at least 1 month of premiums paid in the last 6 months for GBEL, or at least 1 month of premiums paid for MPL Flex. Both require no pending administrative or criminal case and net take-home pay above the GAA minimum after amortization.
